A RO-RO VESSEL, Jolly Verde has set a loading and unloading record for the port of Beira which authorities at the port consider likely to stand for a long time.
In the space of 4hr 45min it unloaded 16 containers, transhipped 72 containers and loaded 49 containers, 14 blocks of granite weighing 236 tons as well as 580 bundles of copper weighing 1400tons.
Three groups of port workers made the record possible.
