RFA sets green example

The Road Freight Association (RFA) has put its money where its mouth is and purchased carbon credits to offset the carbon footprint of the RFA Convention 2012. According to the organisation’s CEO Sharmini Naidoo, this was done because they are mindful of the carbon emissions generated by the trucking industry. “The carbon credits purchased will see 175 trees planted in Gauteng while another 250 trees have also been bought.”
