RFA seminar spotlights BEE issues

KEVIN MAYHEW ROAD FREIGHT stakeholders have agreed to targets for their sector in the Transport Charter and the second phase of the Code of Good Practice for the sector is out for public comment until March 31. The Road Freight Association (RFA) will hold a series of seminars for its members and key stakeholders to familiarise them with the workings and implications of BEE. The first seminar, to be held at the Volkswagen Conference Centre in Midrand on April 12, will provide an update on the sub-sector charter and the Transport Charter overall, explain Codes of Good Practice and outline the practical application of these codes for companies.
