Eleven eager bidders are already lined up hoping to be the one chosen as the sole terminal operator of the new Port of Corozal in Panama – which looks set to become the largest logistics hub in Latin America.

Corozal is to be developed in two phases.

The first is designed to boost TEU capacity to 3.2 million, while phase two will add a further 2.1m TEUs – a total of 5.3m at completion date.
