The Port of Cape Town is set to lease out 23 different properties to industries that provide port-related services. According to port manager Sipho Nzuza, the properties are currently being advertised describing the full details of each property that is available. “The extent of the sites ranges from 30 sqm to 5 287sqm and includes vacant land and developed dwellings,” he told FTW. “The sites may be used for offices and workshops for light engineering activity to support the day-to-day operation of the port. The lease period for most of the sites is five years.” Nzuza said that the closing date of the lease applications was March 6.
