Durban's annual Port Festival, organised and sponsored by Portnet, is set for the weekend of 21/22 February.
According to port captain Derek Cooke, this year's festival will be bigger and better. The highlight will be this year's power boating formula one racing, with the world's leading racers competing. An acrobatic display above the harbour has been arranged and plenty of activity for the public.
During the weekend of the festival the usually drab T-Jetty is transformed, with bright tents along the quayside and all ships moved to other berths for the benefit of the participating public.
