The head of trade and investment promotion section at the Polish embassy in South Africa, Andrzej Krezel, is visiting Zambia this week with the objective of establishing trade links in several sectors of the economy.
Krezel was cited by daily newspaper, the Times of Zambia, as saying that top Polish export products included electronic, mechanical, transport equipment, steel and base metals.
He said Poland had also experienced “exceptional growth” in the service sector, largely driven by foreign direct investment (FDI).
Poland exhibited for the first time at the 51st Zambia International Trade Fair in Ndola last week.
