OUTSOURCE Packaging has been growing at such a pace that it’s now moving into its third new premises.
“We opened shop in 1999 and have already outgrown two premises,” says Brett Vaughan, director of sales and marketing. “Our new headquarters are almost twice the size of the previous location.”
Although based in Johannesburg, it tackles projects around the country. The company manufactures wooden pallets, crates and boxes for transporting heavy machinery. It also offers expert packing services and manages large packing projects. When goods are too large to fit into containers, Outsource organises breakbulk packaging that is fully seaworthy (it will not allow goods to corrode).
“If there is sufficient demand, we may open offices in Cape Town and Durban,” says Vaughan. “At this stage we manufacture and deliver packing materials all over the country and also set up temporary teams to supervise packaging anywhere they are needed.”
