The authorities have therefore decided to call on a previous freight clearance system to help get freight moving at its largest ports, according to Schednet.com The old 1985 system will be used in parallel with the newly-installed integrated cargo system (ICS) which, since its introduction earlier this month to help boost national security, has caused Australia’s largest ports of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane as well as others, to be jammed with freight.
