A YEAR since its launch clearing and forwarding agent Cargocare Freight Services has trebled its staff complement and expanded its service and destination portfolio substantially.

The company, which at the outset focused on imports and customs clearing, is now moving seriously into exports, according to Raath. Its major markets for both in- and outbound traffic are Italy, Germany, UK, Switzerland and the US.
In the long term Raath is looking at developing India, a market with which he is well acquainted through previous experience. We will also continue to focus on exports, he told FTW.
