TRANSPORTERS MANICA Overborder have upgraded their services into Africa following their recent relocation to new office and warehouse premises in Tulisa Park near City Deep in Johannesburg. The 4308 square metre undercover warehousing includes a bond store for transit cargo and caters exclusively for overborder traffic. The only way to ensure control of your cargo every step of the way is by controlling your own warehouse, operations manager for Zambia, Zaire, Mozambique and Bostwana Rod Goncalves told FTW.
The spin-offs for the customer are efficient notification of cargo coming in and being despatched and a greater level of security. Manica's main target markets are Malawi, Zimbabwe, Zaire and Zambia which is a big push area for Manica at the moment.
We're also looking at moving into areas like Rwanda and Burundi using the Mpulungu route. Manica's dedicated route managers include Stephanie Blackburn (Zimbabwe); Paul Carter (Malawi); Mary Trotter (Zambia, Zaire, Mozambique, Botswana); and Brigid Vos (Zaire).
