NRZ beefs up efficiency

THE NATIONAL Railways of Zimbabwe has hired foreign management consultants to improve efficiency. Mercer Management , with offices in the United States and Britain, and Carl Bro and Giersing Rose of Denmark have won a three month contract which became effective on June 1.
One of the main aims of NRZ is to reduce the 11 500 staff by almost half.
