At the 2015 Asia Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain Awards (AFLAS) recently held in Hong Kong, the Port of Singapore sailed away with the top prize.
And this is the 27th time it has been named the best seaport in Asia, and it’s still able to hold its rival dragons of Hong Kong and Shanghai at bay in this respect.
But, sadly for it, it’s no longer No 1 in throughput volume – an honour snatched away from it by the ever-bustling-bigger Shanghai.
No 1 yet again, and again, and again, and….
