A NEW transport corridor linking Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal, passing through parts of Swaziland and the Free State, and ending in Richards Bay is on the planning boards. With the national transport department behind them, the Gert Sibande District Municipality in Secunda has the project in hand. According to the Municipality’s planning and services chief Daniel Hlanyane, thought has already been given to the upgrading of roads and railway lines along the proposed route.
