sAFMARIne has just taken delivery of the 4154 TEU Safmarine Meru, the first in a series of panamax containerships to be delivered by Hyundai Heavy Industries by the fourth quarter of 2007. Named after the second highest mountain in Tanzania, the vessel will enter service later this year on a yet- to-be-named route.
