Jacqueline Hebbard-Ferreira is the new general manager of Ocean Liner Services. She entered the shipping industry in1997, moving to Ocean Liner Services from Woker Freight Services where she was responsible for operations and human resources. However, with “shipping in my blood,” she was happy to move back into the field when the opportunity presented itself. Having a human resources background is a plus for a general manager, she believes, particularly in light of the general skills shortage in the industry. She adds: “There are exciting things happening. We are building on our plans to provide greater levels of service,” she says.
