CAPE TOWN, Oct 12 (ANA) – Many investors, current and prospective, will join regulators and mining professionals in Abuja next week for what has been described as a long overdue forum to gather key role players in mining in Nigeria, where vastly under-exploited natural resources include about 44 varieties of minerals in more than 500 locations.
About 200 mining experts are expected at the inaugural iPAD Nigeria Mining Forum on November 18 and 19.
The conference has garnered wide support, including from the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Solid Minerals, the Miners Association of Nigeria and the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society.
The event is being organised by Cape Town-based Spintelligent and the African office of UK-based Clarion Events, in partnership with PwC Nigeria.
