Merger creates wine forwarding major

A NEW forwarding major has emerged in the specialist wine logistics niche following the merger of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics (HWL) and 5 Oceans, the country's fourth largest wine forwarder. It's a perfect match according to HWL Cape general manager Hans Duncker. "HWL gains a specialist team headed by Tricia Harrison, Anna Schwartz, Elton Stevens and Trevor Masters, while Hellmann brings to the party its large warehousing facility and indoor loading ramp. "Our role in the export chain is to provide not only reliable forwarding and logistical services, but to seek product related solutions.
