MEDICINE IMPORTERS and exporters should note their personal liability when completing certain forms. According to Safcor Panalpina, The Medicines Control Council stipulates that “the importer shall complete and personally sign the MBR 20 document” (import/export declaration form). Importers are also “personally” liable for all other compliance requirements relating to the MBR 20. “Agents are not permitted to complete these on behalf of their clients,” says a spokesman.
