HARRY MASHELE, Spoornet's general manager joint ventures and restructuring, has been cleared of all allegations of irregularities against him. Mashele has received a letter from Transnet chief executive Mafika Mkwanazi stating that the allegations 'have been found to be without substance.' His suspension, which was instituted in February, followed allegations of irregularities in the General Freight Business sector of Spoornet, which Mashele headed. The suspension was lifted in April when Mashele assumed the post of general manager for joint ventures and restructuring.
