THE SECOND annual Maritime Achievers Awards ceremony will be held at the Durban International Convention Center (ICC) on October 28. An initiative of the Department of Transport, the awards are designed to create an awareness of people and organisations that are upholding government’s national policies of black economic empowerment, employment equity and the like.
