Major reshuffle at Mozambique’s transport department

Mozambique’s minister of transports and communications Carlos Alberto Mesquita has just reshuffled his department's senior management team.

Simeão Antonio Munguambe takes over as director-general of the National Institute of Hydrography and Navigation (INAHINA); Berlindo Fernando as new national director of Private Sector Development; Brigida Juliana as new deputy national director of transport and logistics; Jeremias Francisco Chitoquisso as executive director of the Civil Aviation Institute of Mozambique (IACM); Sérgia Langa as head of the minister’s office; and Bitone Siporo Mourinho as head of the communications department.

Mesquita has also appointed Antonio Sitoe, director of the studies and projects office, as coordinator of the rehabilitation unit of the Port of Nacala, replacing Ana Matusse Dimande.
