Kevin Mayhew THE DOMESTIC division of Express Air Services (EAS) has made major capital investments to improve its process flow and to make its Johannesburg facility more pleasing to the eye. Sales and marketing director, Neil Harris, said the process flow improvements were necessary to cater for the implementation of its state-of-the-art domestic track and trace bar code computer system. All of this will also enable it to provide maximum additional services made possible by domestic airlines 1Time and Kulula.com’s introduction of new flights to Port Elizabeth, East London and George, which give better frequencies into these centres. “We see great things domestically and our facilities are undoubtedly becoming world class,” he said. The company’s international division, situated in the Perishable Cargo Triangle at JIA, is capable of handing all dry cargo as well as perishable demands. In January this year Qatar Airways was added to the list of airlines it represents.
