Lovemore opens new KZN warehouse

Terry Hutson MACHINERY LOGISTICS company Lovemore Bros is preparing for the opening of an additional 3 600m2 warehouse, currently under construction and expected to be ready for occupation in June. The new warehouse has been custom designed to complement Lovemore’s established operation in New Germany and will provide 30 000 cu/m of additional storage space. It will be equipped with a 25 ton overhead crane. The new facility features 12 docking bays, 12m doorways with all cargo handling under cover and utilises experienced warehouse crews and a management and supervision team with a proven track record. The warehouse has 24-hour security including electric fencing and CCTV which is backed by cargo tracking software. A fleet of crane trucks and lowbeds, rigging crews, crating, packing and storage provides the balance of this logistical picture, says director Rob Lovemore. “Progressive players in the shipping and manufacturing industries today demand this kind of set up.”
