Lovemore invests R3.8m in new gantry

Transportation, rigging and warehousing specialist, Lovemore Bros, has invested over R3.8 million in a new hydraulic gantry with a lifting capacity of 350 tonnes. “It is specifically designed with an emphasis on safety as well as versatility,” said company director, Rob Lovemore, adding that the gantry could work in confined warehousing spaces or low overhead areas, while remaining mobile and easily transportable. “The system integrates experienced and trusted engineering and design, enabling the gantry to perform very well under demanding conditions,” said Lovemore. The Lift N Lock cam locking technology provides what he terms “true continual load protection” throughout the duration of the lift. “Furthermore, in the unlikely event of a lift cylinder losing pressure, the Lift N Lock safety system will engage to hold the load in place, protecting both the riggers and those on site, as well as the load,” said Lovemore.
