Synthetic rubber manufacturer Karbochem has renewed its transport contract with Imperial Logistics group company Freightmax for another two years.
While the original contract five years ago involved line haul transport only, Freightmax now provides warehousing, container packing, crosshaul of export containers, unpacking of imported raw materials and on site bulk tank logistics at the manufacturer’s Newcastle plant.
The contract is worth R2.7 million.
