‘Keen interest’ in SA citrus exports in Asia

A South African citrus producers’ delegation will meet with the Thai Embassy, officials and importers in Bangkok this week to discuss citrus exports out of South Africa.

Posting updates on Twitter yesterday, Citrus Growers’ Association CEO Justin Chadwick said this followed a ‘fruitful’ visit to Vietnam earlier this week. “The orange access process is proceeding well and importers expressed keen interest in South African citrus,” he tweeted.

Chadwick was accompanied by a delegation from the Fresh Produce Exporters’ Forum as well as Fruit SA and SA Table Grape Association.
