Inxpress opens Cape Town office

Interactive website to be launched JOY ORLEK COURIER OPERATOR Inxpress has added a Cape Town office to its network in a move that director Ezelle Harris describes as a natural progression to accommodate growth. Based close to the airport in Airport Industria, it is headed up by Darryl Fouche who has several years experience in the industry and has worked abroad with the company’s agents for a year learning the ropes. “We have recognised Cape Town as a key market for our international courier operation,” says Harris. “And while our focus will be on international express freight, we will also be offering domestic courier solutions to supplement this.” The company has exceeded its growth expectations on international and domestic courier traffic, according to Harris, and will shortly move to new premises to accommodate the growth. “We will be restructuring our Johannesburg staff complement to ensure that high service levels are maintained.” One of the significant growth nodes has been traffic into Africa where several new routes have opened up to the likes of Ghana, Nigeria and Tanzania. “We will be launching our interactive website within the next month or two and have some exciting new developments along with this,” she added. Durban will continue to be served on an agency basis at this stage.
