A new tracking service is set to transform the future of airline pet travel, according to a pet container manufacturer.
CarePod and intelligence solutions company OnAsset have joined forces to develop smart pods which will be embedded with devices to monitor, supervise and constantly update owners during their pets’ journey.
CarePod CEO Jenny Pan said the devices had been designed to withstand the demanding conditions of air travel, and would change the future of pet travel and safety.
She said CarePod’s goal was to revolutionise the future of animal air travel by implementing robust solutions for monitoring the passage of pets from point to point.
The digitally enhanced pods will make use of the CarePod Pet Aviation Web Solution (Paws) platform.
