A TRILATERAL free trade pact between India, Brazil and South Africa (IBSA) is on the planning boards, according to reports from New Delhi.
“An India-Brazil-South Africa (IBSA) free trade agreement is a distinct possibility and India is looking for ways to achieve tangible progress in enhancing the trade relationship with Brazil and South Africa,” said Rakesh Kumar, additional secretary in the external affairs ministry, quoted on newKerala.com.
He was speaking at a meeting organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
