Aero Africa has added new airfreight options for imports from India to its existing bouquet of blocked space agreements (BSA), the neutral consolidator has said.
It already runs BSA scheduled services from China, the UK and the EU.
Following the India development, “Aero Africa will now provide our forwarding agents with additional weekly scheduled services from seven air cargo gateways in India on premium carriers,” the company said.
Jay Cameron, direct product development director at Aero Africa, told Freight News this morning that gateways in question were Mumbai (BOM), Delhi (DEL), Bangalore (BLR), Calcutta (CCU), Hyderabad (HYD) and Ahmedabad (AMD).
The new services include capacity for dangerous goods, pharmaceuticals, and perishables and was made possible through a partnership with SA Group, India’s leading neutral airfreight wholesaler.
“We are very confident to provide our clients with innovative air cargo solutions from a very important trade-lane”, said Cameron.
“We accept cargoes at our drop-off stations in BOM, DEL, BLR, MAA, CCU, HYD and AMD and we can provide simplified door-to-airport EXW competitive rates nationwide.”
