DUNCAN BONNETT

THE INTERNATIONAL Monetary
Fund expects Africa’s economic boom
to expand from 6% in 2007 to
6.8% in 2008 fuelled by a surge in
commodity prices, investment flows
and policy reforms.

sustain its growth momentum, the
IM F said in its October 2007 World
Economic Outlook.
