DUNCAN BONNETT THE INTERNATIONAL Monetary Fund expects Africa’s economic boom to expand from 6% in 2007 to 6.8% in 2008 fuelled by a surge in commodity prices, investment flows and policy reforms. The region looks well-poised to sustain its growth momentum, the IM F said in its October 2007 World Economic Outlook.
