The annual Journal of Commerce global productivity leadership rankings for port terminals, 2014, produced a winner which makes the Port of Durban, striving to exceed 20 crane moves per hour (MPH), seem like a paltry contender.
APM Terminals (APMT) Yokohama retained its top spot with 186 crane MPH.
If Durban ever got up to that speed it would have finished with that ship due in on Wednesday yesterday.
