LEONARD NEILL
A PRESTIGIOUS German media award made to any of that country’s commercial or manufacturing outlets anywhere in the world in recognition of their human resources endeavours, has gone to DaimlerChrysler South Africa’s (DCSA) East London manufacturing plant.
The Bambi Award, regarded as the equivalent in its field of the American Oscars, honours DCSA’s HIV-Aids workplace programme.
The company was also recently honoured for its HIV-Aids programme by the National Occupational Safety Association (Nosa) in Pretoria, as the country’s best global workplace manager.
