The International Road Federation (IRF) has a jam-packed programme to see out the rest of the year, including, among other things, the launch of a ‘Decade of Action Plan’, the UN Sustainable Transport Conference from October 14-16, and the UN Climate Change Conference in November.
Topping the IRF’s agenda, no doubt, is its own annual conference on the heels of the UN’s transport conference – from October 20-21.
“The IRF annual conference will provide to our community the opportunity to come together and discuss how we innovate on the ambitious targets set in these international processes,” says IRF director general, Susanna Zammataro.
Ensuring that attendees are forearmed as well as forewarned about upcoming events of international importance, September will see the release of the 2021 edition of the IRF World Statistics.
She says it will equip them with a robust set of data.
The IRF conference will be hosted under the theme “Innovation: Charting Pathways to Sustainable Mobility”.
“The conference will provide a two-day digital experience around four thematic sessions and two marketplace sessions to foster knowledge exchange between participants,” according to IRF newsletter Crossroads. Limited sponsorship opportunities are available.”
