ECU Worldwide South Africa remains optimistic about Zimbabwe’s growth potential. “We are positive that the outlook for exports into Zimbabwe will continue to grow,” overborder manager Lynley Channon told FTW. “We have already seen growth in the import of automotive parts and pharmaceuticals.  Products that were locally produced are now being imported.” She said the company had also experienced growth in its FCL service with cargo moving into Zimbabwe via the Port of Durban. “Our operation in Zimbabwe has been performing very well over the years and we are constantly challenging our own processes in order to provide the fastest and most reliable service to our clients,” said Channon. “We are positive that we will see growth in this region.” She said the company remained committed to offering a weekly export service to Harare and Bulawayo. “We have been fortunate to have the support of a good agent and a strong client base. We have strong importers who are eager to continue to help in the upliftment of the Zimbabwe economy.”
