JOHN BEAUMONT has been appointed general manager - sales division at forwarding agent Clover Cargo International.
He has 27 years experience covering surface and air cargo.
Leading a team of eight freight consultants, he sees himself as very much a playing captain.
In an industry often characterised by hard-sell, he believes that resolving the real issues requires an in-depth look at shipping cycles followed by meaningful proposals.
