Global logistics major victim of e-mail scam
FedEx Global has fallen victim to an email scam.
According to online site ‘Handy Shipping Guide’, the email was forwarded to its UK office.
It claims goods failed to be delivered and they should open the mail attachment for details.
The form in this case states (including the spelling and grammatical errors):
FedEx GLOBALFedEx Notification
Our company`s courier cann`t make the delivery of package.
REASON: Wrong postal code
DELIVERY STATUS: sort order
SERVICE: One-day shipping
NUMBER OF package: 4OFEQMFWK0
FEATURES: No Open the enclosed file for details.
An extra information: If the package isn`t received within 15 working days we will have the right to claim compensation from you for it`s keeping in the amount of $3.33 for each day of keeping of it.
