More project cargo bound for Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is expected to move through Beira with the completion of roadworks and the strengthening of bridges on the 1 360-kilometre route between the port and Ndola in Zambia.

In response the J&J Transport Group has established a specialised project division, which is headed up by Kanishk Jaiswal.

“The projects division will work closely with Specialized Transport, another J&J group company. It operates a fleet of abnormal vehicles, fuel tankers and tipper trucks,” says Richard Tiddy, group marketing manager of the J&J Transport group.
