CMA CGM has added Halifax to its Columbus service between Asia and North America via the Suez Canal, with the 8 478-TEU CMA CGM Vivaldi due to call this week.
This new service has become the first direct loop between Hong Kong, Mainland China, Vietnam and Malaysia to Canada’s east coast.
The port rotation is: Hong Kong, Shenzhen-Yantian, Vung Tau (Vietnam); Port Kelang, Halifax, New York, Norfolk and Savannah and back to Port Kelang, Vung Tau, Hong Kong, Shenzhen-Yantian, Ningbo and Busan.
