EXPEDITORS HAS beefed up its sales and distribution divisions with two new senior appointments.
After several years on the Expeditors' sales team, Andrew Stafford has taken over as district sales manager based in Johannesburg. He will spearhead an aggressive sales drive which will see expansion of the sales team in its push for new business.
"We've always grown organically and now want to spread our wings," says Stafford.
Herman Brand is the new distribution manager. Previously supply chain manager for the Tiger Group based in Isando, he brings to the position a customer perspective.
"People and systems is what has put Expeditors at the cutting edge," says Expeditors' Johannesburg district manager Karen York.
"We now have an aggressive, skilful and customer-focused team in place to grow the business."
