Demand continues to drive the expansion of the Maputo car terminal. The facility now covers an area of over 48 000 sqm, with a capacity of 202 000 units a year, according to Johann Botha, commercial director of the Maputo Port Development Company (MPDC). Imported vehicles for use in Mozambique will be moved to the cabotage terminal, which was recently acquired by MPDC.
