Forte Supply Chain Consulting has moved into a new head office in Cape Town. According to the company’s founders, Pieter Hendrik Greyling (chief financial officer) and Renko Bergh (chief operating officer), ongoing growth spurred the move. “The business has continued to expand the past six years and it became crucial to find premises to accommodate the growing team,” said Bergh. The new offices at The Village Square in Durbanville are central and easily accessible to clients,
meeting the company’s immediate and future needs. It served as a solid foundation for future growth, said Greyling. “The move has given the team good momentum for the year ahead.” Specialising in the implementation and utilisation of software within different sectors of the supply chain, the group currently consists of four different divisions. “We act as a bridge consultancy delivering solutions to the transport, warehouse and inventory industries,” said Bergh, explaining that the software
partners were chosen for each division based on the particular needs and expectations of each industry client. “Because we don’t own the software, our approach is neutral, which in turn allows us to meet industry expectations more clearly,” said Greyling. Most recently the company launched Forte Data Solutions – an independent cloud-based platform that connects, integrates and exchanges information regardless of the device or data formats used. “One of the biggest challenges in the supply
chain is the silo approach and this solution reliably and efficiently addresses that by
improving the visibility and transparency in the supply chain,” said Greyling.
Expansion is their Forte
