Agencies has been on an upward growth spiral,
with particular focus on business out of the
Far East – predominantly China, Hong Kong,
Indonesia and Singapore – Italy and the northwest
continent (NWC) of Europe.
While new markets are a continued area of
focus, established markets like Italy, where the
company has worked with General Exports for the
past 12 years, continue to bring in good business,
says sales and marketing director Raymond Cutts.
“Chiara Paoli, our Italian representative, was
in South Africa this month to touch base with
customers,” said Cutts. “Italy was one of our first
trade lanes and working with the same agent we’re
able to deliver consistency of service.”
South America recently joined ILA’s service
stable.
