Eritrean Airlines’ inaugural flight to South Africa arrived at Cape Town International Airport on Monday afternoon (May 7). The airline will operate four times a week to Cape Town and OR Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg. The triangular route will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays using an Airbus 319. Eritrea’s capital Samara is seen as an ideal connection to destinations such as Jeddah, Karachi, Lahore, Khartoum, Dubai, Rome and Frankfurt.
