Employment trends mirror industry change Flexible staffing division grows

AS MORE and more companies recognise the benefits of flexible staffing, Lee Botti & Associates is seeing a growing trend towards temps for planned and unplanned employment needs, says managing director Lee Botti.
“Our flexible staffing division, Temp Alternatives, has seen substantial growth in the past year, and in many cases it’s led to permanent employment,” she told FTW.
The evolution of supply chain logistics has also created new opportunities, with many more quality candidates available with diversified backgrounds and broad experience, able fill clients’ logistics needs.
“We continually strive to broaden our candidate base in order to meet our clients’ expectations in line with the latest market trends,” says Botti. “After all, business is about working smarter in an increasingly competitive environment and offering tailor-made solutions to clients’ requirements.”
Another area of opportunity for South Africans has been ex-pat contracts in Africa and the Middle East.
“Many South Africans are finding the financial gain and international work exposure invaluable, with companies enjoying the hard working, committed nature of local staff.”
