An Emirates Airline A380 aircraft joined the welcome party as the iconic QE2 liner arrived in Dubai last week, ending her final voyage. She was also greeted by a flotilla of local yachts, boats and leisure-craft led by a Royal Navy Frigate. Once refurbished, QE2 will be used as a floating hotel, located on the eastern side of the trunk of Palm Jumeirah at the end of a specially designed, prestigious land-bridge precinct.
