EgyptAir – represented in South Africa by ATC Aviation Services SA – is to add new flights between Cairo and global cities around the world, starting from October 29.
The carrier is set to operate one daily flight to Amsterdam, New York, Bahrain and Madrid and five weekly flights to Barcelona, Vienna and Baghdad, said ATC deputy director: Africa, Stuart Tonkin.
Three additional flights have also been added on the Casablanca route, bringing the total number of weekly flights to 11.
Tonkin pointed out that most of these flights would be aboard medium- and long-range Boeing 777-300 and Boeing 737-800 aircraft - one of the latest types to join the company's fleet.
