Dti to lead a delegation to the West Africa Power Industry Convention

The Department of Trade and Industry (dti) has invited companies in the South African electro-technical sector to apply for participation in the West African Power Industry Convention (WAPIC) exhibition.

The exhibition will take place in Lagos, Nigeria from 23 to 24 November 2016.

“WAPIC gives exporting companies access to an emerging, high-growth market by allowing them to showcase pioneering technology and innovative products in the electro-technical sector," says Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Mzwandile Masina.

The focus of the WAPIC 2016 event ranges from boilers/combustion systems and cables to instrumentation controls and motors/electrical equipment. 

The exhibition will be attended by about 90 exhibitors from all over the world. Information about participating can be obtained on the dti website.
